FAQs

Common questions about RezRank for recruiting teams and hiring departments — rankings, scores, billing, teams, and troubleshooting.

Getting started

What does RezRank do?

RezRank ranks candidates against job descriptions and hiring-manager context, then produces recruiter-ready explanations: strengths, gaps, red flags, benchmarking, and suggested interview questions. It automates first-pass screening so recruiters spend their time on the candidates who matter.

Is RezRank a resume builder?

No. RezRank is built for recruiting teams, hiring departments, and talent operations — not for job seekers writing resumes.

Does RezRank replace recruiters?

No. RezRank automates first-pass analysis and gives recruiters better evidence for shortlist decisions. Recruiters and hiring managers still make the final decisions.

How do I run my first ranking?

Create a job with its description, optionally add hiring-manager context, upload candidate resumes (PDF or Word), and run the ranking. Results come back scored and ranked with evidence for every candidate, ready to export as a recruiter PDF report.

Rankings & scores

Why did a candidate's score change?

Scores measure fit against a specific job description and any hiring-manager context. If you edit the JD, change the context, or run the same resume against a different role, the score can change — that's expected behavior, not a bug.

Why does the same resume score differently on two jobs?

Because the score is relative to each job's requirements. A resume that's a strong fit for one role can be a weak fit for another with different must-haves.

What do the gaps and red flags mean?

Gaps are requirements from the JD with weak or missing evidence in the resume. Red flags are items worth probing in an interview — tenure gaps, unverified claims, or missing information. Each ranking also drafts role-specific interview questions to test them.

Can I share results with hiring managers?

Yes. Export a recruiter PDF report or email it directly from RezRank to up to 25 recipients per send.

Plans & billing

How is RezRank priced?

Per recruiter seat. Core covers teams of 1–4 recruiters, Professional covers 5–9, and Enterprise covers 10+. Annual billing gets you two months free. Current per-seat rates are on the pricing page.

How do I manage billing, invoices, or my card?

Workspace admins: open the profile menu → Account & Billing. That opens the secure Stripe Customer Portal where you can update your card, change plans, download invoices, or cancel. RezRank never stores card data on its servers.

What are the usage limits?

Each plan includes a monthly AI usage allocation. Your dashboard shows current usage, and admins can view detailed usage for the workspace. If you hit a limit, upgrading or waiting for the monthly reset restores access.

How do I activate an Enterprise plan?

Contact info@rezrank.io — Enterprise workspaces are provisioned with custom contract terms.

Teams & roles

What roles exist and what can they do?

Admins manage billing, invite users, and assign roles, plus everything recruiters can do. Recruiters create jobs, upload candidates, run rankings, and export reports. Hiring managers and viewers have limited, read-oriented access and cannot run rankings.

How do I invite another recruiter?

Admins invite teammates from the Team page. The invite's role is applied on the teammate's first login, and pending invites can be revoked. Adding recruiters beyond your plan tier may require an upgrade.

Can teammates join without an invite?

Yes, if an admin enables it: teammates can auto-join by corporate email domain, or through a shared join link (rezrank.io/join/your-code). Public email domains like gmail.com never auto-join a company workspace.

How do I reset my password?

Use "Forgot password" on the sign-in screen and we'll email you a secure reset link. If your account shows as disabled, ask your workspace admin to re-enable it.

Security & data

Is candidate data used to train AI models?

No. Candidate data is processed solely to deliver scoring and intelligence outputs to your workspace and is never used to train shared or third-party models. See our security page and NDA for details.

Is my workspace's data isolated?

Yes. Every record is scoped to your company workspace, and role-based access controls what each user can see and do.

Troubleshooting & support

My resume upload failed. What should I check?

Make sure the file is a PDF or Word document that isn't password-protected, corrupted, or a scanned image with no selectable text. Re-exporting the resume to a fresh PDF fixes most failures.

A ranking failed mid-run. What now?

Retry once — transient AI errors happen. If it keeps failing, contact support with the job name and approximate time so we can investigate.

I'm seeing a rate-limit message.

Ranking requests are limited to 60 per minute per workspace. Wait a minute and retry.

How do I get help fast?

Use the Support button in the bottom-right of your dashboard — the RezRank Assistant answers instantly, 24/7, and can hand you off to a human when needed. You can also email support@rezrank.io.
